Bright People partnered with a global mining and resources organisation to enhance technical upskilling and accreditation for newcomers. We curated and organised over 100 high-quality, cost-effective learning materials aligned with Technical Trades qualifications. By providing a comprehensive, multi-modal resource collection, we supported effective and scalable training for diverse learning styles, ensuring a robust foundation for technical skills development and accreditation in the industry.
Situation
As part of an ongoing partnership aimed at enhancing technical capabilities at scale, Bright People was engaged to support the development of a program for upskilling and accrediting newcomers to the mining industry. The focus was on sourcing and curating high-quality, cost-effective learning materials aligned with Technical Trades qualifications modules to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
Solution
Bright People continued its collaboration by undertaking the following:
- Learning Materials Curation: Sourced and curated a range of no and low-cost multi-modal learning materials tailored to various learning styles.
- Categorization and Description: Organized and described over 100 learning items to support learner selection and ensure alignment with Technical Trades qualifications.
Outcome
The project delivered the following outcomes:
- Comprehensive Learning Resource: Provided a well-organized collection of over 100 learning items, categorised and described for easy selection by learners.
- Support for Technical Trades: Ensured that resources were available for each of the five Technical Trades, supporting effective and scalable upskilling and accreditation.
Bright People’s efforts enabled the mining and resources organisation to efficiently support the development of technical capabilities and enhance the onboarding and training experience for new industry entrants.
