Bright People were engaged to provide independent strategic organisational development, design advice and support to our client as a newly formed business. In order to deliver shareholder value, driving Business Improvement was identified as a key capability, and required a capable organisation to be designed and developed.
We established a fit-for-purpose approach to defining current state organisational capability. The approach had an emphasis on establishing a BI function to deliver agreed and prioritised improvement projects regionally, and at each site and operation. This involved developing a proposed future state organisation (inclusive of capability and roles) and implementation considerations.
The project objectives were delivered, providing the business with the capability necessary to pursue its business improvement agenda and enabling the delivery of medium and longer term value for its shareholders. Significant cost reductions were also achieved by reducing duplication and ensuring the right level and amount of resource was being applied to prioritised improvement projects.
